Pentadecapeptide BPC 157, composed of 15 amino acids, is a partial sequence of body protection compound (BPC) that is discovered in and isolated from human gastric juice. BPC-157 is considered synthetic because this particular sequence does not exist in nature. It is derived from a protective protein found in the stomach.
BPC 157 Peptide Application:
1) BPC 157’s anti-inflammatory properties have LED to the theory that the peptide can be an effective ally in the battle against periodontal disease, which allow it to be an effective ally in the healing of wounds. Scientific study on rat Achillies tendons that were cut transversely (that is, transected), have demonstrated that the introduction of the peptide significantly boosted the outgrowth tendon explants
2) BPC 157 promotes the ex vivo outgrowth of tendon fibroblasts from tendon explants, cell survival under stress, and the in vitro migration of tendon fibroblasts
3) The peptide’s anti-inflammatory properties theoretically allow it to be an effective ally in the healing of wounds. Scientific study on rat Achillies tendons that were cut transversely (that is, transected), have demonstrated that the introduction of the peptide significantly boosted the outgrowth tendon explants
